The throne of Dunwall requires protection once again. Established fifteen years after the first game, Dishonored 2 gives you the option. Choose to Corvo Attano, the royal master assassin and protector you know from the first game, forced into the shadows once more. Or he plays like Emily, once a girl you saved in Dishonored 1 now an empress and warrior trained by Corvo. Each character comes with unique abilities granted by the ever-curious Outsider.
Dual playability
The protagonists of Dishonored 2 have different powers granted by Outsiders. Corvo maintains the skills that all veterans of the first game will be familiar with, including the iconic ones Blink y Possessionwhile Emily is granted new abilities, which suit her birthright as the ruler of her people. Her abilities influence how they can approach the levels and give insight into the core of their personalities.
New mystical superpowers
The Outsider, Dishonored's infernal meddler, grants Emily five completely new powers, very different from Corvo's. The Empress can summon a totem that captures the attention of everyone around her and generates strange comments from those who stare into space. The main tour of it will be driven by Far Reach, a shadowy grappling hook that you can use to grab distant ledges, items, and enemy heads. Or he can transform into a black smoke demon to sneak away and dismember his opponents. Each stem, including Corvo's, offers branch upgrades so you can personalize your experience.
A change of scenery
The story of Dishonored 2 takes you to the city of Karnaca in the homeland of Corvo, the island of Serkonos. A place inspired by Greece, Spain and Italy, it is a sun-drenched city, plagued by vicious swarms of mosquitoes emerging from corpses and violent sandstorms in the Dust District. Karnaca's sunny landscape brings color and light to the series, and the Void engine delivers gorgeous images that perfectly capture the atmosphere.
Play creatively
Like its predecessor, Dishonored 2 (PC) encourages players to be creative in the way they approach each mission and area. Using the power of Emily’s Domino to link the destinies of multiple people and then fling one off the ledge, causing Corvo to stop time and possess multiple people to kill each other, the possibilities are limited only by his imagination. The level architecture offers enough opportunities for you to replay missions to explore all the options for stealth, combat, and creative elimination of enemies and targets.
