Gameplay
The game features similar mechanics to Dark Souls and Dark Souls II, although with some differences: The character animations are almost identical to those of the first title, but they occur faster; When taking the estus flasks, the character can move slowly (in previous titles the character could not), the kick returns, and the search for estus fragments, bone dust, rings, weapons, armor, shields, magic scrolls, tomes of pyromances, miracles remains, and the magic bar returns (PC).
The system of armor and stability (statistic that allows to resist blows without losing balance) has been completely changed compared to the other 2 games, reducing its defensive capabilities and making it more effective when taking offensive roles in fights, resulting in a gameplay similar to Bloodborne.
The graphics and artwork are noticeably better than previous games, and each boss has a different background melody.
Story
Dark Souls 3 is the end of the saga and presents a world, the Kingdom of Lothric, on the brink of the Apocalypse because of "the curse of the undead", and the reason why the world has not yet completely plunged into darkness is the sacrifice that many heroes and even gods made when rekindling the original flame, which is responsible for maintaining the "Age of Fire", leaving this consume their respective souls and bodies.

These humans are awakened when the Lords of Ash (those who were powerful enough to bind the First Flame) are awakened but do not fulfill their duty: stay on their thrones (in the Fire Link Shrine) until they are Sacrifice again to bind the First Flame. That is, when the Lords of Ash do not want to prolong the Age of the Gods (the age of fire) and abandon their thrones, the Latent must go for them to kill them and return their ashes to the Thrones, and the Latent To succeed, he must, as the last part of the plan, immolate himself, and thus become a Lord of Ash.
Multiplayer
Even though he becomes more used to playing solo, there is also a cooperative multiplayer mode, where the player is helped by other people through "summoning signals" to defeat bosses, enemies, other players or very difficult areas, although there will be a small increase in difficulty due to the increase in players.
There is also a PVP mode, where traditionally one player could invade another to try to kill him, or summon signals can be used. PVP mode is disabled during boss battles.
Now in Dark Souls 3, also at the stake there is a game mode called "game of the undead" where the versus is more personalized.
